INNOVATION AND EFFICIENCY IN EARLY CLINICAL TRIALS:

Over the past several years early clinical development has changed. Utilization of healthy volunteers in early clinical studies has decreased being replaced by Phase 1b/2a clinical trials. This poses a challenge to Sponsors who desire maximum information from fewer clinical trials at an early stage.

Delta Research Partners is a dedicated Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition Phase 1 unit. Our Phase 1 unit is located within a hospital.

Delta Research partners has a 12 year history performing high quality Phase II-IV clinical trials. We have a very strong reputation for safety, quality of data, and rapid enrollment. Our site consistently ranks in the top 3 enrolling sites in most clinical trials we participate in.

DELTA RESEARCH PARTNERS PHASE I UNIT IS UNIQUE:

Our Phase I unit is dedicated to Gastroenterology/Hepatology and Proof of Concept. We are located in a hospital. We have 24 hour access to emergency room and staff in the event they are needed. Our unit has the staff to accommodate multiple nights stay. In our unit we have the ability to perform intensive PK/PD schedule. We have key staff members including a licensed pharmacist and dietician. Our site provides nutrition services dedicated to designing meals according to protocol specific requirements. Delta Research Partners has the ability to provide rapid enrollment with quality data.

• 8,030 square feet
• 14 private rooms with, in room bathrooms. Rooms have TV with cable, wifi access, and safety alert system in place.
• In house 24 hour ER
• Endoscopy Unit
• Diagnostics including imaging, CT, ultrasound, MRI
• In house diagnostic laboratory
• Cardiac monitoring
• CLIA waived laboratory with refrigerated/ambient centrifuge, -85 freezer for sample  storage
• Dedicated drug storage that is ambient/refrigerated temperature controlled, back-up generator, restricted access to staff only, capability to store controlled substances
• Extended stay capabilities for sample collection including PK and PD. Crash cart/AED within the unit. Nutritional services to design protocol specific meals. Licensed pharmacist available.
• Monitoring accommodations are spacious with access to wifi, fax, copier.

Staff:

• 8 Gastroenterologists
• 4 Certified Clinical Research Coordinators with 10+ years experience in gastroenterology. All are IATA certified.
• In house Research Assistants including Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses
• All staff members are GCP trained
